Poetry Lights

Born in 1962 I grew up in Cologne, Germany, developing a love of words from a young age. Consequently language, being so elastic and powerful, has become my favourite tool of expression.

I lived in Germany until I moved to England in 2004 and I am lucky to be fluent and at home in both German and English.

​

I try to achieve simplicity and wholesomeness in my writing and my perception of life, nature being my prime source of inspiration. Other than that there is no conscious formula I use for writing. Rather than analysing the process I just enjoy the flow when it happens.

Many people have encouraged me to publish my poems. This is a first attempt to do so and you are invited to see it grow and mature over time.
