I happen to find
perchance in my mind
your sweet voice
saying "Forgive
the intrusion..."
Perhaps an illusion
but, no matter
how near or how far
you ever are
an intruder to me
you shall never be.
Es kommt vor
in meinem Ohr
daß ich deine Stimme höre,
die sagt "Verzeihung wenn ich störe..."
Ein Schein mag es sein
doch, wie fern oder nah
auch immer
Ein Störenfried bist du mir nimmer
