Of all the places that make
up the picture of my
carefree days of youth
there is the memory of a lake
which holds my soul still in
its silent silken truth
Unter all den Orten die sich
spiegeln in den sorglos frohen Tagen meiner Jugend
findet sich die Erinnerung
an einen See, der meine Seele trägt in seiner seidenstillen Tugend.
